The wildfires have impacted the community in so many different ways. The LA Disaster Relief Navigator is here to help you quickly create a personalized action plan that contains the critical financial and wellness resources available to you.

Mortgage Relief
Residents whose homes were destroyed or left uninhabitable by the wildfires can apply for relief from mortgage payments through the CalAssist Mortgage Fund.
Property Taxes
If your property was damaged or destroyed by the wildfires, you may be eligible for tax relief. To qualify, the damage to the property must exceed $10,000 of current market value and an Application for Reassessment: Property Damaged or Destroyed by Misfortune or Calamity (Form ADS-820) must be filed with the Assessorβs Office within 12 months from the date the property was damaged or destroyed.

Free Mediation
The Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) offers free mediation services.They help tenants and landlords work out a payment plan.
